The 50/50 antifreeze is  diluted antifreeze. Concentrated antifreeze must be diluted with water within the radiator otherwise it would damage the radiator. Most of the time it is difficult to judge the ratio of anti-freeze to use in the radiator without proper guidelines. The diluted Anti-freeze does not require additional water, it can go straight into the radiator. The ratio has been previously calculated to meet the demands of the vehicle.
